If you run your own business, you need to pay attention to each stage in your funnel.
Get data for each stage: "What gets measured gets managed." - Peter Drucker
Then iterate and make improvements.
Many companies have wasted mountains of $$$ buying ads that push people to poorly-optimized middle stages of the funnel.
I have legitimately designed custom landing pages for some of my YouTube sponsors to avoid this.
It's also why I spend a TON of time on my own sales pages.
@TomFrankly
Let's look at the sales page next.
Most template creators just use a default Gumroad page and call it a day.
I spent more than 10 hours making a fully-designed page using @elemntor and WordPress. It's also a seamless part of my website. https://t.co/5Dj9qTMhkF
Additionally, see if you can REMOVE funnel stages.
A lot of people actually harm sales by putting potential buyers through long email sequences before pitching.
I have several friends who stopped this (@MattGiovanisci for one), started pitching right away, and increased sales.
P.S. - funnels aren't just for businesses!
Looking for a job? You're building a funnel too.
A lot of people send out resumes to hundreds of companies. They've got the top level of the funnel covered.
But because they put so little effort into any individual application, no one is interested enough to extend an interview offer.
Remember: 1,000,000 impressions with a 0% click-rate is still 0 clicks.
Same with job applications. Same with everything.
An example of how to do this right:
My friend @yomartholomew once applied to a web dev company by building an entire website about why he wanted to work for them specifically.
He was still a student, and their policy was to not hire students.
They hired him anyway.
"Don't half-ass two things. Whole-ass one thing."
Oh hi. You're at the bottom of the funnel.

Everything is a funnel.
Want to earn more? You need:
------- Impressions -------
-------- Views --------
----- Clicks ------
--- Sales ---
Each stage deserves attention.Quick example on a $100 product:
5 mil impressions * 5% = 250k views
* 2% = 5000 clicks
* 5% conversion rate = 250 sales
Revenue: $25,000
What if we boost sales page clicks to 3%?
250k views * 3% = 7500 clicks
* 5% conversion rate = 375 sales
Revenue: $37,500
50% sales boost!If you run your own business, you need to pay attention to each stage in your funnel.
