AI Summary

This thread argues that DEI activism diverts resources from a company's main goals and replaces top talent with less capable workers. Over time, this reduces efficiency, causes mistakes, and weakens trust, leading to potential major failures. It’s not an immediate disaster but a slow erosion of competence and resources that can eventually cause a catastrophe.

1/
DEI activism takes resources away from the mission of any company it gets a foothold in, and it uses those resources as a vehicle to spread DEI propaganda

This leaves less resources available for mission-critical tasks, leading to an increase in mistakes, errors, and failures

@realchrisrufo
Went all-in on DEI. Massive internet outage. I'm not assigning causation in this particular instance, but it is an iron law of institutions that DEI leads directly to incompetence, corruption, discrimination, and fraud.

2/
DEI does not cause immediate catastrophic failures. Rather, what DEI and other "Woke" initiatives do is twofold:

1. Slowly drain resources from mission critical areas such that there are less resources dedicsted to accmplishing important organizational objectives

And...

3/
....

2. DEI/Woke initiatives change the hiring standards so instead of hiring the most competent person, they restrict to a specific race, sex, or gender identity (lgbt, women, POC, etc) and hire the best person who has those characteristics.

Here is what that does...

4/
It removes the *MOST* competent people, and replaces them with people who are capable, but not excellent. It's like trading Michael Jordan for a bench warmer: the bench warmer is still a well trained NBA player, but he can't replace Michael Jordan or do what MJ was able to do.

5/
Is also gives slightly less competent people slightly less resources with which to accomplish their objectives.

As you get more DEI, you get less of the best people, and more of the "average but passable workers who happen to be women, or gay, or POC."

6/
Less resources + a slight dip in competence leads to more errors and mistakes. This leads to a loss of trust in the organization and a loss of sales, partnerships, and investment.

So now you have less competent people with less resources also have to clean up more mistakes...

7/
As the mistakes pile up and there is greater pressure to get bsck on track in a hurry, the lack of resources and competence leads to corner cutting, shortcuts, and orher attempts by less qualifies people to do more work with less resources.

At first this is not noticable....

8/
Everything looks just fine on the outside.

But as more resources get pulled away from the core mission to do DEI/WOKE propaganda, the ability of the less competent people to keep things running with less resources gets overwhelmed.

This is when a major catastrophe occurs.

9/
In short, DEI programs do not immediately torpedo institutions, DEI/Woke programs degrade an institutions ability to accomplish its goals by siphoning the institutions resources away from its mission while reducing competence within the institution.

10/
Once the lack of resources and deficit of competence reaches a critical mass, it is only a matter of time before a catastrophe occurs

DEI/WOKE slowly erodes the load bearing pillar of competence and steals the institutional life blood of resources until there's a catastrophe

11/
This means that is correct: DEI is not the direct cause of various failures, but it does create the conditions for failure by draining institutional competence and directing resources away from mission critical tasks.
