2/ First let me start by saying I emailed personal email addresses for press people, which I had from earlier media inquiry, so they got my message. Second, I'll add I started this hunt after seeing @TomFitton fact check of Benson here.

@TomFitton 3/ I could tell, though, where Tom got his figures from or Benson for that matter so wanted to research myself. First point: Community Notes is wrong: There are not 7.9 million is voting age citizens in Michigan. @elonmusk was correct. That 7.9 is voting age "residents" of MI.
@TomFitton @elonmusk 4/ How do you know? Because the statute that mandates Census estimate "voting age population" defines it to include "residents" which is both citizens and non-citizens. )
