Recently, @CTULocal1 signed off and participated in a protest to "Stop the Trump Agenda." This protest took place in downtown Chicago on Inauguration Day, 1/20/25. They didn't just sign off on the poster; they bragged about being there in a post. This is the same protest where one of the speakers praised the "Palestinian Resistance," which to many is known as Hamas.
I am unsure if @CTULocal1, their president @stacydavisgates, or any CTU member who attended knew what they signed the CTU name onto, but I know they did not do their due diligence.

USPCN, the United States Palestinian Community Network, was the leading organization in this protest. One of the co-founders of this organization is Hatem Abudayyeh; another, according to their own admission, is Rasmea Odeh.
Rasmea was the associate director of the Arab American Action Network, another group that signed on to this protest. Hatem is currently listed as their Executive Director.
"Rasmea Yousef Odeh (in Arabic رسمية يوسف عودة; born 1948), also known as Rasmea Yousef, Rasmieh Steve, and Rasmieh Joseph Steve,[3] is a Palestinian Jordanian and former American citizen who was a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) convicted by Israeli military courts for involvement in a 1969 Jerusalem supermarket bombing which killed two young civilians. She was sentenced to life in prison and spent 10 years there before being released in a 1980 prisoner exchange with the PFLP.[4] After her release to Jordan, she immigrated in 1990 to the United States, became a U.S. citizen, and served as associate director at the Arab American Action Network in Chicago, Illinois."

"In his ruling, [Judge Gershwin] Drain said evidence showed the Palestinian native illegally obtained US citizenship by failing to disclose her conviction for the fatal 1969 bombings in Jerusalem."
"Odeh supporter Hatem Abudayyeh condemned the judge’s rulings and the case as a whole.
'Since both defense motions challenged how Drain conducted the trial, it came as no surprise,” Hatem Abudayyeh of the Rasmea Defense Committee said in a statement. 'We know that the conviction was a travesty of justice, and that Judge Drain’s rulings made it impossible for the jury to give Rasmea a fair shake.'"

They successfully shut down Michael Rapaport's first event and Matisyahu's.
