Mikey Moore is quite obviously the best academy prospect at the club, loans should be fringe academy players who need gametime to make that extra step.
The likes of Donley wouldn’t have seen minutes if they stayed around — Moore did. He has experience in the Premier League, Europa, it’d be a complete step backwards.
Moore just needs to bulk up during the summer, and he will be fine. Loan just kills it, he needs to adapt to the top division. Not The Championship.
Look at the top English talents right now — how many of them went out on loan? Harry Kane is the freak anomaly.
