I am making a thread addressing the controversial tweets I've made previously. Since I still see people bringing these up to this day despite my attempts to correct it, I'm now making a thread covering everything which I will keep pinned for a time.
First is any of the tweets relating to the "13/50" stat. In these tweets I am responding to people making percentage-based arguments.

For example, something like "white people commit a disproportionate amount of mass shootings, therefore X". I point out to these people that if they're going to use a statistical argument like that, they'd have to address the other side, which contains the "13/50" stat.
You either have to accept both of those types of arguments or neither. You can't use one set of stats to your benefit while ignoring the other. I don't agree with either of those arguments, since it is reductive and unhelpful to approach the problem of crime like that.
I hoped that by showing that they're essentially using the same argument an anti-black racist would, simply with the races swapped, that it would show that their argument is flawed. It's a harsh way of arguing by trying to shock the other person.
Unfortunately this gets screenshotted completely out of context and used to imply that I'm using the stats for racist purposes. As with any crime stat, there are factors beneath it that are the root cause, which mainly stem from poverty caused by generational oppression.
As proof this isn't something I'm just saying now, here are tweets as far back as over a year ago with me saying the same thing.

The other main tweet is this IQ-related one. The person I'm replying to suggested a voter IQ test as a way of preventing Trump from getting re-elected. I reminded them that this is akin to the kinds of racist Jim Crow voting restrictions that prevented black people from voting.

Again, I tried to point out to them that their own argument isn't working in their favor. IQ is not and never has been an objective measure of intelligence. The creator of IQ has said as much himself.

IQ tests were created to be biased, and used as part of racist Jim Crow policies. However me pointing this out as been completely miscontrued into claiming I'm a eugenicist.
Gaps in scores can also be attributed to lead poisoning which disproportionately affects poor and very often black communities. Here are reputable sources saying it, along with me saying it over a year ago.

Next would be the claim that I am Islamophobic. I have made comments in the past where I say I am opposed to Islam, because it would have me killed for not being straight (which happens in many places in the world).
I was quite passionate about this and couldn't see that this is an overgeneralization which doesn't apply to the vast majority of Muslims. I wouldn't take this kind of position now.

Back when people first started to talk about this, I also saw this, a faked screenshot of me. If you look at the space between the pfp and message when compared to a real Discord message, it is clearly a photoshop.

Based on the ladybug emoji and name color, this was supposedly from my own Discord server. However nobody has ever been able to produce a SINGLE screenshot of any of the messages surrounding this suppossed quote.
Not only is this quote disgusting, it is disgusting that anyone would try and claim someone said it when they did not.
I've also heard claims before that I'm homophobic (even though I'm bi) or sexist, but I honestly can't think of anything I've ever said that would suggest this.
The last thing would be the "Pucci isn't black" argument, which people try to turn into me supposedly not liking the character being black. The simple truth is that according to the information in the story, the character is not black.
If I apparently have a problem with black characters in Jojo, then why don't I talk about anyone else like Smokey or Pocoloco? The answer is obvious, which is that I do not have any problems with black characters in Jojo. Any other answer is a complete lie.
I've talked about the events of the Wes/Pucci backstory and how it points to the characters being non-black. But people choose to ignore any points made and simply call me racist in response.
The reason I talk about Pucci is because people continue to misread the story and spread misinformation. I deal with this like I do with any piece of Jojo misinfo, which is to correct it. If someone started going around claiming Smokey was white, I would correct them as well.
As much as people would like to frame it that way, the argument is not about "taking away representation" or "whitewashing" a character. It is about going off what the story is saying.
I'll be here to answer any further questions people ask me.
