Let's talk about Threaded Optimization(nvidia control panel) in Valorant, CPU heavy games and why it can be better to leave OFF. I turn this option off because it allows the GPU to offload some of the GPU's related processing onto the CPU. When you're dealing with CPU heavy...

Games you want to leave as much CPU threading and processing as possible for your game. This can be the also be reversed in the opposite fashion if you're experiencing bottling necking from the GPU side. IE ryzen 5950x w/ gtx1060. In this instance it may be better to leave ON.

Since Valorant is extremely low in graphical processing department allowing the GPU to Offload on an already busy CPU can cause issues such as stuttering, freezing...etc. Just because a guide tells you to turn something on or off doesn't mean it's globally sound for all.
