Hey everyone I've been seeing some confusion around my current situation with @mobgamesstudios so I thought I'd clear the air. Yes, I no longer work at Mob Entertainment. I decided to leave because of differing opinions on management style as well as creative differences (1/8)
For those who don't know, me and my brother Zachary have been working with the founders of Mob for over 5 years, and we were the first fulltime employees to join Mob Entertainment in the summer of 2020 over 3 years ago. (2/8)
At that time there were only 4 of us in a little room making animated Minecraft music videos on YouTube. Eventually we went on to create Poppy Playtime in 2021 where I worked on the story/lore, animation, character designs, voice acting, trailers, VHS cinematics, and... (3/8)
helped guide many other creative aspects of the Poppy universe, and would continue to do so up until the tail end of Chapter 3. In addition to Poppy Playtime, me and Zachary were also directing another large project that I can't get into much cause of NDA... (4/8)
but it was my baby, and I'm sad I won't be able to see it to completion. I also had the pleasure of working with an awesome team of artists to create the Adventure Mode Pilot for the EnchantedMob YouTube channel. (5/8)
It's been a wild 5 years. The ups, downs, and everything in between. I am beyond grateful that I got to work with such talented and passionate people over the last 3 years. My time at Mob has been integral in building my art skills, my personal growth, and my relationships(6/8)
I wish Mob the best with completing Chapter 3. Although I won't be around for it's future, Poppy Playtime will always hold a special place in my heart. As far as the future goes, me and Zachary already have some exciting new projects in the works coming very soon. (7/8)
