Selling LEGOs, Olay, and Adidas on Amazon can make bank But Amazon won't let you sell big brands until you get "ungated" Here's how to get it done as cheaply as possible: 🧵

People were charging literally thousands of dollars for this info when I started Their greed is why I got stuck selling just used books on Amazon for over a year So once I figured it out I started showing people this for free:
When you first start, most things are "gated" To "ungate", Amazon wants an invoice from a wholesaler or website I got ungated in grocery, beauty, health, & household through Frontier Co-op
Bigger brands like Nike and LEGO can be ungated directly through their website You can also use big websites like Kohls or ASOS It all depends on what you are trying to get ungated
Generally I don't care if I am gated before I buy a product Because most websites you can buy products from will work for this process So just be sure you buy 10+ units to the address on your seller account (Amazon's requirement)
Here's the step by step: 1. Find verified suppliers (Walmart, Kohl's, LEGO, etc.) 2. Buy 10 of the same items 3. Submit invoice to Amazon 4. Wait for approval
Buy 10 of the same units (find a cheap product) After it ships, either email asking for an invoice or they'll send one automatically Submit the invoice to Amazon and wait for approval
If you don't get approved resubmit until you do Amazon won't always approve it on the first go Naming the invoice "BRAND_invoice" might help speed up the process Try attaching tracking info as well if they give you trouble
