1)Rice is said to equivalent to silver. Donating rice during pitru paksha is said to be good for pacifying your pitrus and getting their blessings in form of prosperity and good health. Buy rice and donate it to a Brahman/needy person especially on Monday/Friday/poornima
2)Jau/barley is considered equivalent to gold in donation. Buying and donating this on a Thursday during pitru paksha is said to appease pitrus and bless the person with children and prosperity
3)Donate new clothes to Brahmins on Friday. Offering white flowers and Jasmine oil to pitrus are also highly recommended Offer water mixed with milk, black sesame seeds, white flowers, rice to a peepal tree and pray for their blessings.
4) light an oil lamp near peepal tree every evening for 16 days and recite naga stotra or swadha stotra. This is an excellent remedy for pitru Dosha in the chart
