I knew Forestry were logging OGF in the Central Highlands of #tasmania
I saw big trucks recently leaving this coupe with large logs.
I knew trees & entire forests nearby were being decimated by anthropogenic warming.
I suspected trees were dying in the coupe & I’m right.🧵
As you can see from the video a large area of forest has been cleared.
Trees left standing at the edges of the coupe are bleeding, fracturing & splitting, or dead.

E, delegatensis (rough bark) is dying in huge No’s and can be seen here opposite E, dalrympleanea (smooth bark) bleeding & fracturing in the remaining OGF on the edge of the coupe.

I examined a few stumps with bark splits & heavy bleeding.
Forestry are logging dying trees.
I cannot believe what I am witnessing here in #tasmania
And a single sapling stands haemorrhaging sap, completely isolated & surrounded by clear felling & a rapidly dying forest.
