Yesterday I didn’t have the words because I was grieving a disabled friend who died from cancer recurrence after being infected w/ COVID. She should be alive. She should get more birthdays. The thousands of children slaughtered in Palestine w/ US bombs should have more birthdays.

Campaigning maskless. I’m just so angry. The rage I feel at the continued lies in our faces like we are stupid. Like we don’t have literal documentation of everything that’s happened. Black people & disabled people are both more likely to die from COVID, which is still happening.

@Tinu was an incredible Black disabled advocate. Our community mourns her loss because she should still be alive. Her death reflects the systemic failures American disabled people face. She should get more birthdays. But she’s dead. Our government prioritizes profits over people.

@Tinu I hope the screams of the children murdered with *unwavering* US support and bombs — the screams & videos of the children burning alive, seeking safe refuge in tents outside of a hospital — I hope those images & sounds haunt you for the rest of your birthdays @VP @KamalaHarris.
