After high level lobbying efforts from Jewish religious leaders and Israeli Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US President Donald Trump sent a special envoy to Baku in order to implement Israels agenda of forming a trilateral partnership between the US-Israel and Azerbaijan. ⬇️

Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law) sent a letter to Trump to “strengthening the strategic alliance between Israel, the US, and Azerbaijan.” The letter is said to have directly influenced Trumps decision to send a special envoy , led by Steve Witkoff to Baku, Azerbaijan. ⬇️
Witkoff arrived in Baku after a short trip to Moscow leading reporters to believe that Azerbaijan could play a significant role in the areas geopolitical future. No public information has been provided as to what Witkoff discussed with Azerbaijans dictator Aliyev, but ⬇️
reports believe that two main issues were discussed. The first is the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty and the second is the involvement of American companies in the creation of the new Caspian oil pipeline. ⬆️
