Aging isn’t the real cause of belly fat—poor choices and neglect are. To lose stubborn fat, walk more, get 7-9 hours sleep, try intermittent fasting, do morning workouts, and eat high-protein, low-carb, and track your calories. It’s simple but requires discipline. Trust the process, and you’ll see results!

Everyone over 30 blames aging for their belly fat.

But the problem isn't age...

It's poor choices and years of neglect.

Here are 5 simple fixes to destroy stubborn belly fat: 🧵

First, why do we store so much fat around our stomach?

It's how your body protects your vital organs and keeps you alive.

Now that we understand this, it's time to remove that excess weight:

1) Walking:

This is by far the best way to do cardio.

Running exerts more energy → making you want to eat more

Yes it's cliche but 10k+ steps per day really works.

2) Improve your sleep:

7-9 hours per night is a general rule.

If you struggle to sleep try:

- Cold and dark room
- No blue light before bed
- Finish eating 3-4 hours before bed

Waking up tired every day to exercise, eat right, and take care of yourself is much harder:

If you struggle fasting or managing cravings...

This is my favorite hack.

It'll help you feel full for longer and avoid those bad habits.

If you're serious about dropping that belly fat, give it a try:

4) Morning workouts:

If you eat a lot of carbs, you most likely have glycogen left over the next morning.

Barbara O'Neill explains why that is bad & how working out fasted fixes it:

5) Diet:

High protein + low carb + caloric deficit

To make it really easy → track calories and macros one day and follow that exact plan every single day.

Here's an example of what this would look like:
